“"late Filed By Police Officer" What Else Do I Need To Do?”

I got a ticket a year ago and requested trial

Haven't heard anything after nearly a year, I email the court and ask whether a trial date has been set.

I got response says It was late filed by the police officer to the court office.  The fine is not outstanding and the charge will not go on your record.

Does this mean the charge is gone and there is nth else I need to do??

Yes, if the charge was filed too late, the Courts will not proceed with it.
