Speeding Ticket, But Not Going The Speed The Radar Clocked
Got a ticket for going 61km/hr in a 40 zone in Toronto (handheld radar gun). But I know I was not going that fast. Is there anything I can do? I was trying to research the accuracy of radar guns or something along those lines.
Re: Speeding Ticket, But Not Going The Speed The Radar Clocked
Unless you can prove the unit was malfunctioning (and that's almost impossible to do), it will be deemed to be working properly. You're going to have to find a better defence than "I know I wasn't driving that quickly." Your best chance is that the officer's notes don't document start- and end-of-shift tests of the unit.

I hadn't thought of that, thanks!

The radar is far more accurate than your speedo.
