Location And Height Of 'no Left Turn' Sign

Unread post by billses »

I got a Disobey sign ticket at a 'T' sized intersection, when I made a left turn from a minor road to major road. There is a 'No left turn' sign on the other side of the major road, around 1.8 meters high from ground, the sign can easily be blocked by a truck on the major road.

My question is, should the sign be erected on this side of major road instead of other side? How tall should it be? where can I find regulations about this?

Thanks.

Regulation dealing with signs is here: http://www.canlii.org/en/on/laws/regu/r ... g-615.html

I'm not aware of any rule stating which side of the road it needs to be posted on. Might help if you gave us the actual intersection and City so people could have a look at the sign on Google maps.

The paralegal firm I hired to fight my ticket told me in their experience that it typically takes a delay of at least 13 months to file an 11b successfully.
