Nice Grab Bookm ![]()
I read it earlier, but working nights is killing me!
Why is no speed released, nor a name, and you can bet this unmarked car is not in any impound lot.
"We can't say the exact speed; that forms part of the evidence which is now before the court," said Const. Peter Leon.

Not that any evidence is needed for this garbage, but does this mean all other "Damn Street Racers " where the speed has been disclosed is comprimised?

The cruiser is at a police impound lot, so you can bet your sweet behind that the constable will not pay a red cent for impound. The constable will do a week of training or administrative duties and not really be affected. Chances are the union will pay for legal representation unless the witnesses for the prosecution are called off for duty elsewhere and cannot make it to court.

Man, that's like 3 OPP getting charged in 10 days... Are they trying to get the need for speed out of their systems?

2 tickets I'm scared
In June at 401 London and Wellington I got hit twice, speeding which I didn't realize I was doing and cell phone. The Officer made me open my purse and show him my phone. I was going to meet a Rep of my Company in Kitchener, he called I answered. WRONG! The Officer wasn't even nice. My record…
Careless driving - left turn causing collision
Hi all, sorry in advance for the wall of text but I am a bit out of my depth and trying to get more information.

Advice to presenting case

I received a ticket the other day that has my wrong name, wrong address and wrong set fine amount. Is the best thing to do default on it and hope it is quashed and if it isn't file for appeal as per London v. Young ?

Failed to yield to traffic
My step-father received a ticket under Sect 144(8), not yielding to traffic.
The intersection is with a highway, lights at all stops. Highway speed limit 90 kmh, speed of intersecting road 50 kmh.
