The Highway Traffic Act simply states that youre required to surrender your ownership upon demand. In short when the officer asks for it, you need to provide it. I did a lot of research before posting here but could not find any answers to my question from what I understand if you do not provide it during the pull over then you can't provide it at the police station or in court as it will do nothing.
