Wow Keroba, Me thinks that would have worked, but alas she wasn't thinking that day. Ended up coming down with the flu the day before and just wanted to get it overwith. I think I went wrong because I couldn't get what I wanted out of the witness and then I ended up testifying and hanging myself wit...

What can I expect at court?
My date is May 4th and I am defending myself with no previous court experience. I know I will be at the table to the left. Do I let the prosecutor and/or JP lead the case? I have no independent witnesses, but I am assuming the officer and the 2 others involved in the accident will be witnesses. Do I...

How do they prove you were the driver?
Just wondering how the prosection goes about proving who was the driver at trial. If I tell the officer I was driving the black car is that sufficient proof or is that hearsay or does it have to be discussed in court. Just curious.

defending myself
I'm charged with follow too close. Just wondering about court proceedings. I have some defense stategies, but I will not be getting on the stand in defence of myself. How does court work? Do I interview witnesses or does the prosecutor go first. I assume I can get my point across in my closing state...

Accident Report makes no sense
In my disclosure statement an accident report is present. The diagram makes no sense. There is a drawing of the road on which the accident happened and all 3 of the vehicles are indicated on the diagram. The diagram includes some measurements of the intersection just south of the accident and the me...

ticket errors
Are they allowed to use short forms for street names ie Westdel Brne instead of Westdel Bourne? The rest of the world spells the street name as "Beechnut" but the MTO spells it "Beachnut". Is this considered an error enough to eliminate a ticket? Do they have to check off the &qu...

Here's the deal. Ford Escape pulled over in S bound lane with side smashed in. I'm assessing whether anyone is hurt or needs help and also can't figure out why it is in such condition when no other smashed up cars are near it. Although baffled I decide to carry on in the N bound lane and as I begin ...
