I'm pretty sure I will get the whole thing checked by the O.P.P. and get my sticker that all the saftey stuff is present at the beginning of the year. I will also talk to the local law enforcement and bring this to their attention so that there are no complications when they do check the boat later ...

Does a confiction of this offence (Criminal Code) usually come with jail time ? Also, I noticed that the paper work has a box that is available to be checked to disqualify me from driving a vessel and it is not checked off. Is there anyway to argue the use of pacing in court ? Can you request to see recent speedometer calibrations ? Also, can radar be used from a car that is following a vehicle ? I always thought it had to be from approaching traffic. I guess technology has probably developed so that this is possible.....
