Toronto Hand Held Device, Court Date = End of July 2020.
It looks as though the traffic ticket look up says that I am not to attend court if I was scheduled to between March and September but my ticket on the looking still says my court date for the end of July. Is everyone here sure I Should not attend? If my court date is extended past the 2 year mark f...

Re: Requested DVD evidence several times - No response until day of Trial
My first trial date was mid February of 2020 just a couple of months ago. I went to that trial without a response from the officer about whether their was DVD evidence. When I got to trial I told the prosecutor and she simply asked the officer quickly before I had my time with the JP. The JP informe...

Re: Any advice on hand held device while in gridlock traffic?
Thank you for the response. I followed up again on the DVD evidence and the person at the wicket told me that the police officer ignored her request for the DVD and didn’t state whether one was available or not. She said she would email him again and let me know. Any recommendations on how to procee...

Re: Any advice on hand held device while in gridlock traffic?
Already a year and court date coming up in a month. I requested the disclosure a couple of months ago which they provided but they have not provided the DVD. They said I would have it, I have followed up twice and said it is not available yet. I really wanted to have a paralegal look at all of this ...

Re: How long is too long to wait for a trial? *Hand held device*
I received my full disclosure and my legal representation does not think they can get me out of the ticket.
What is the best way to plead guilty with a reason at this point after I requested a court date.

Re: How long is too long to wait for a trial? *Hand held device*
After the motion date for a new trial I never got anything in the mail, it had been a week so I called. In past instances with this same ticket they notified me of the new trial date in the mail. I called the office and the lady gave me my new trial date but was glad I called because this time they ...

The person that called me said I do not have to attend the motion I would attend to object but I will be on vacation and unable to vehemently object. Since this is the second time they are trying to schedule a third date is there a chance that without me being their the JP will just throw out the ti...

Re: How long is too long to wait for a trial? *Hand held device*
this is the second time now the cop can not show up on the date of the trial and they are doing a motion for another trial date.
Will this go on forever? Or will the JP eventually throw out the ticket because the officer will not want to show up.
I was able to obtain a copy of the disclosure.

Re: How long is too long to wait for a trial? *Hand held device*
I submitted my request and got a call today from the office saying that they are going to have a prosecution motion in which I do not have to show up for in mid july.
