Getting a ticket on a merge ramp to a highway for exceeding the 30kph to 70kph limit on those ramps. Where exactly do those limits end?

My favorite is I'm in a left turn lane at a light and the idiot in the lane to the right of me accelerates and makes the left turn in front of me.

OR

Same scenario but they make a u-turn instead.

- driving in the right lane and the car in front stops, puts hazzards on and proceeds to exit car like he/she belongs there.

Re: Careless driving as well as parking, standing signs

The second one, remember everyone wants to get to their destination too. If you're dropping someone off, fine but make it quick. Thats just my point of view. Drives me mental everytime someone in the right lane, and I am following behind them in traffic, when they stop to let someone out, and then they sit there talking or the passenger gets out and then leans into the window and talks with the driver. Don't they realize they are holding up traffic? I believe in the 5 second rule. If you don't move within 5 seconds of a light turning green or dropping someone off, or whatever, I'm on the horn.

According to the drivers handbook, if you are being tailgated, pull over and let them pass. What's wrong with that? The last thing you want to do is step on the brakes on a tailgater. That could cause some serious problems. Especially if you got one of them road rage persons behind you. I've tailgated, and I've been tailgated. If you want a tailgater to back off, do what I do. Clean your windshield. The over spray will go on the car behind you and they will back off. Happens 100% of the time. But when I tailgate, I usually flash my lights as an indication that I am going to pass (not really ta...

Toronto Cops used to be cool about stuff like that. Giving us 24-48 hours to fix the problem, prove it and then have it negated.

What happened to the good ol' days?

I understand what they are trying to do, I just don't agree with their methods.

Police crackdown on enthusiasts parked in a parking lot.

How much time do we have before this is done here? No more car shows for any of us.

I know there is an HTA for this but I do not recall the number.

It basically states that you cannot modify your car in a way that would make it unsafe to you, your passengers and to the public at large.

Nitrous is now illegal to have on a licensed car. as I understand it, if you have NOS, the bottle has to be disconnected if you are driving on the road and highways.

But then, it's only an issue if you get caught. :D

Other than this, you should be good to go.

Hey, lay off the trucks. They are still the #1 way for delivering goods in this country. Without trucks, we won't have food to eat. Or new cars to buy. :D All vehicles, regardless of use should be tested for emissions. But there should be a period of time that new cars don't need to be tested. 6 years is still not enough time nowadays. I'd make mandatory testing of all vehicles, regardless of use, over 10 but less than 25 years of age. But I would add one other test. Mandatory safety inspections on all vehicles over 10 years but less than 25 years, every year while car is licensed for road use...

History of offences

Is it possible to obtain a complete history of offences on your license?

The MTO will only issue 3 years and 6 years for insurance purposes. I'd like to go back to when I received my first ticket.

The reason I ask is if the MTO will only go so far back, then the police should only be able to go so far back as well, yet they are able to pull up my entire history on their little computers. I don't think that's fair. So I'd like to see what they see.

I know. I'm coming late into this.

All firetrucks have a sign in huge letters on it's rear.

"Keep back 150m"

You've never seen it?
