Option 2 Early Resolution - good idea?
:? Recently got a ticket, and I am picking the option 2 to see what the prosecutor has to offer. But, I was wondering if I give away what I am planning to argue on the court, wouldn't the prosecutor use it against me if the meeting is unsuccessful? And, if I don't talk about what I am planning to argue, how would I get the prosecutor to give the ...

Re: How to file an 11B
Thanks for the helpful information!
Now, I understand the court date could be rescheduled due to lack of "Disclosure". But, how long in advance should you request the disclosure, so the prosecutor cannot argue that you gave a short notice on purpose to delay the trial?
Would you request the disclosure by mail/in person/by fax?
Thanks!

Thanks for the reply!
I called the number on the ticket today and used the automated system. So, if I want to choose option 2, I can request it in person at the court office. A trial request will also be filed at the same time in case of an unsuccessful meeting. What will happen then is I will be scheduled a meeting with a prosecutor in 6-8 weeks ...

Re: Amber Light - Fail to stop @ How do I fight this one?
1) I don't believe the Courts would accept your leg injury as a valid reason. The onus would be on your wife to drive more slowly if abrupt stops cause you pain.
2) If you can convince the Courts you didn't have sufficient time/distance to stop at the stop line, that would be a good defence..
3) I don't think it's an issue to represent her and ...

Option 2 - Early Resolution (question)
:) Hi, I was just wondering if I choose Option 2 - Early Resolution, will I meet the prosecutor at a separate meeting or is it just a short talk right before the hearing on the court date?
If it is a separate meeting and I don't want to take his/her offer, will I then have to go back to set a trial date (even it may be already after 15 days from ...

Amber Light - Fail to stop @ How do I fight this one?
:) Hi, everyone, my wife just got this ticket and I am hoping for some opinions about how we can fight it.
I know under the HTA 144 (15), "Every driver approaching a traffic control signal showing a circular amber indication and facing the indication shall stop his or her vehicle if he or she can do so safely, otherwise he or she may proceed with ...
