Re: help on dashcam video
Guys anyone introduced dashcam evidence in court? Any special process to go through to get equipment to play video? Last time I was in a court room they had some ghetto looking TV on a cart... Thanks!

Re: Radar Manual- No tuning forks and No tracking history
Don't they now calibrate them using pacing on the speedometer? I think I read somewhere that not calibrating it using tuning forks was not a problem anymore if they wrote in the notes it was calibrated at the beginning and end of shift on the speedo. I also recall getting that from officers notes in the past.

Got a ticket $110/2pt for left turn at wrong time at King/Atlantic - they have changed the times a fair bit...
Anyway, according to Reg 615, section 45 the sign has to visible at all times from 60m away. From the dashcam video I have, it is obvious that the sign is not visible from 60m at this ...

Re: Trial/disclosure strategy for Speeding ticket
In fact, for the Genesis VP Directional, which is becoming quite popular, all the tests are included in just one push of the test button. You don't even use a turning fork for that device. I would be very interested to know if I am mistaken about this though.
Well I can answer that for you :)

Re: Trial/disclosure strategy for Speeding ticket
With regards to Question #1: I think the chances are likely. This is common practice in most jurisdictions.
Okay good to know, thanks.
For example, if you request "calibration records of the radar unit" they're just going to laugh at you. There's no such thing. The radar comes out of the factory working and then it only needs to be tested at ...

Re: What happens if I don't show up for court? (parking ticket)
You should consider going, it would be good practice for any future, more serious tickets.
I never bothered either, but after reading this website I'll be sure to challenge every single parking ticket in court. Request disclosure. They prob won't bother for a parking ticket. You apply for stay based on that. They may have to enter a bylaw as ...

Trial/disclosure strategy for Speeding ticket
Hey everyone first off I'd like to say great website, I have been reading and it is very useful :)
I'm posting today as I'd like to get some feedback on my situation and have a couple of questions. Please excuse the vagueness in some areas - I don't want my case to be identifiable given the small town.
So I was driving up north and was pulled ...
