Re: Keeping Pace with a Speeding Police Vehicle Which Then Slowed and Issued a Ticket
You could file a complaint against the officer probably but that wouldn't amount to much. Cop mentality is the laws don't apply to them they're only there to enforce them. Cops aren't allowed to speed either unless they turn their lights and/or sirens on.

Are police allowed to do breathalyzer whenever they want now during traffic stops for speeding?
I was in PEC driving through the country side around 100km/hr and was pulled over by OPP (he was going opposite direction and whipped around a U-turn in the middle of traffic) for speeding and the told me he is giving the breathalyzer to everyone he pulls over. He told me this after he went back to ...

Re: Received Disclosure, couple questions.
Here you go. Another thing I didn't mention is that my original trial was 18 May and then about 2 weeks before the trial I received a notice saying it had been moved to 12 May and I then contacted the court to get it changed because I was away for work on that date and had arranged the day off for 1...

Thanks for answering!
So yea, the officer marked in his typed notes that he is a Martin qualified operator and instructor and his last training was 2011 but still not sure exactly what that means. Hopefully someone knows because google doesn't come up with anything.

Re: Received Disclosure, couple questions.
After download a full copy of the radar manual it seems that tuning fork calibration is a required for testing. However, the manual I am reading appears to be an American version. I am going request that I receive a full copy of the manual due to discrepancies but it states in the American manual th...

Received Disclosure, couple questions.
In my disclosure the officer states he is using a radar and stalker DSR 2X in moving opposite direction mode. He states he was moving at 92km/h the opposite direction of me and clocked me at 125km/h* in a 80km/h zone. He states I was approx. 250m away when he spotted me and within this time he confi...

Re: Can OPP from another zone give a ticket out of their are
Called the courthouse and they said they will never transfer it. OPP can issue tickets anywhere in Ontario and the officer that gave me mine must have been from Napanee and I have to go there. I said to her, "so if the officer was from Windsor and he was in in Trenton i'd have to drive to Winds...

Can OPP from another zone give a ticket out of their area?
Hi, I received a ticket for speeding 125km in a 80km zone today. I was on Hwy 2 in Quinte West just outside the town of Trenton. The ticket I received I believe was from a Napanee OPP officer because the top of the ticket says NAPANEE 2060. There is an OPP unit in Quinte West so I don't see why I wo...

Filling out appeal forms
Good morning, My speeding ticket that I defaulted due to a error in the amount payable ended up going through and I was charged. I guess the Justice of Peace on duty didn't bother to review it very closely. Anyways, I now have to file an appeal for it. I remember seeing someone had posted examples o...

Re: 99km in 80km zone, Construction area not indicated on ti
One last question now that I am past the 15 days I had to respond to my ticket and I am trying to force the fatal error. How will I know if I've been convicted or if the judge squashed the ticket? Will I receive something in the mail? Approximately how long would it take for this to happen? Should I...

Re: 80Km/h in posted 60KM/h - Radar reading 91 - Disclosure
If you're going to fight it based on the radar you should've requested the radar manual in your disclosure or at least the pages relevant to testing.
