Request disclosure and see what evidence the officer is basing the charge on. If there is no evidence to support the charge, the Crown will likely withdraw it. I appreciate your response, Would it be fair to assume that it would be pretty straight forward to have this withdrawn assuming the witness statements correspond with my story? As long as you were in a different marked lane then the vehicle that stopped, you did nothing wrong.
