Happy Holidaze!
I wonder how many people got off tickets in 2008 from advice received on this site?
I wonder how much they all saved in 2008.
They never come back to tell us if they won or not.
Bear, how many donuts do you think you ate in 2008?

Re: License plate transfer
Call the MTO to find out for sure, but I say no you cannot do what you suggest. The plates have a sticker on them and another sticker is placed on your ownership slip. Therefore, the plates are only good for the car they were registered for. You may be able to transer them to the new car put I doubt you can just do this on your own without going ...

Re: Who is YOUR role model?
Pick a number, lets make it easy, think of ANY number between 1 & 10 and WRITE it down.
Using a calculator, if you need to, take your chosen number and multiply it by 4.
Next, add 8 to your new number.
Divide your new number by 4.
And finally, take that number and subtract your original number from it then write down your new magic number.

Hi Tom. Interesting story. Any idea what section unsafe start falls under?
I've never heard of unsafe start before. It may exist, but maybe not.
We all know the term "merge" or "merging" but they is no merging offence.

Re: Case law conversion
I bet you're referring to some s. 172 cases, eh?
I tried them a week ago but no English version was provided. I then tried a French English online translator but that didn't work out either. I know those cases were to be heard this week. I'll be interested in reading them as well, if someone can translate them. And if that's what cases you're even ...

Get the company working on the lights to put it in writing. There is no way a car starting from a stopped position at the lights could total another car it hits in the interesection. She blew the lights. It's possible the lights were so screwed up she had a green, but I doubt it. She blew the a flashing red. The companies work order is your proof ...

Re: Fail to Obey Lane Sign
If you select trial and go to the trial the court can fix all errors on the ticket.
Do not respond to the ticket. The court cannot fix the errors if you do not respond to the ticket.
You goal is to beat the ticket. Therefore, if you want to win, don't respond to the ticket at all. The court will convict you and can appeal at which time you will ...

The term highway applies to all roadways. There are two demerit 2 points. Because of the dermerit points it means this is a provincial issue. Because it's a provincial matter, the French Language Services Act is triggered. This requires all communications to be in both languages even if you don't speak both languages.

Bear will know for certain, but I think if he's in pursuit he can continue the pursuit into another jurisdiction. Cops are cops throughout the Province. Even when off-duty they are still on-duty, really.

It's a city by-law, naturally. But I'm not sure if I understand you.
Parking spots would only begin 9 metres from the corner of the cross road. If you were in a valid parking space how could you violate the by-law?
My attempt at drawing is weak from hopefully you get my drift.

Re: Representing somebody else in court
You cannot represent someone else if you are being paid or receiving any sort of consideration. The government enacted legistaion last year in the Law Society Act . If you are just helping a family member or friend for free you still can, but the court can stop you at any point and time if you haven't a clue what you're doing or disrupting the ...

Re: rescheduled by the court
That was partly a joke. But getting a fair trial and receiving a fair verdict and fair sentence are three completely separate things.
I'm sure we can offer you some extradefence options that you were not aware of and would not have argued you yesterday. So it's not all bad that you didn't get your day in court. YET!
