Re: Unintentionally failed to stop for school bus!
I know this post has been awhile. But I have a question, yes, my husband was charged as a registered owner and a set fine of $490 with no demerit points and he's plead not guilty, how much can we lower it to? also, | read on this post that there will be no increase in the insurance, is this for real or this is just an assumption?? thanks

Plead not guilty
As a follow up, if my husband was charged for failing to stop for school bus as the owner of the vehicle and he was not driving the car and he pleaded not gulty, can the person driving the car still be charge with the same offense?

tricks to fight a ticket for failing to stop for a school bu
My husband got a ticket with a fine of $490. for failing to stop for a school bus. Somebody filed a complain and he was charged a the owner of the vehicle and he was not using the car that time. The police showed up in the house and gave him the ticket and told him there's no demerit point and advised him to fight it. The police was actually really, really nice and told him that there is a trick to win the case but he is not suppose to say it. Can anybody tell me abt. this trick or any way to win this?
