Besides a switch, will probably go with a relay that kills the lights once the engine is running. Don't want red and blue's behind me because I forgot to turn the front LEDs off!

I'm no expert on this... but I sincerely would cast doubt on the claim a police officer doesn't get paid to show up if the trial is postponed.

The Laser Ally manual (US Version) says that the unit should be re-certified every year... the Canadian version of the same manual says "Annual Calibration is Optional".
I guess they sold higher quality devices to Canada!

If/when do I have to disclose my evidence for a trial?
Lots of good information on getting disclosure from the Crown here.
Now, I am just wondering if I will be relying upon evidence of my own at trial... do I have to voluntarily send this material to the Crown in a reasonable time before the trial, or only if they request disclosure from me?
