What happens when you show up for trial and court is closed due to weather conditions?

I'm charged with speeding 55 in a 40 km/h zone. Not a CSZ, just a 40. I understand that this 40 zone had to have been created by a bylaw specifically establishing it. The bylaw hasn't been disclosed to me. I have a feeling, reading what I have so far, that this might not matter. I see that it matter...
