Re: Parking ticket from "Developer maintained - Unassumed ro
Stanton, thanks for the feedback. Based on what you are saying, he is not required to write in his notes and I can't argue why he wasn't detailed in my case while he was detailed in all other case next day. Am I getting that right? Probably the best thing would be to pursue "unassumed road"...

How much are parking officer notes worth in court?
Hi everyone, I got a parking ticket and disclosure of notes only shows that officer "was on parking duty" for that day and that's all. Parts of the notes blacked out shows that the officer on the next day was very specific about each and every ticket that he wrote, like "Tagged at 4:4...

Re: Parking ticket from "Developer maintained - Unassumed ro
Hi everyone, I got a letter to appear in court and I asked for note disclosure. Here is what the note says: Friday - November 4th 2:00 am to 7:00 am Report for duty. 3:00 am to 6:00 am Parking, "snow" removal??? (not sure if that is snow removal) - There was absolutely no snow back then. 7...

Re: Parking ticket in Montreal - no signs posted
Okay, so to conclude this. If they can never find out my name and address (which they can't as you guys say), and if I do change my plate next time I am in QC, then I have nothing to worry about ?! Is that right?
Thanks

Re: Parking ticket in Montreal - no signs posted
So, this is pretty F***cked. I mean what if the ticket is lost before someone sees it? And then they have no way of reaching you because they can't get your name or address....this is bizarre.... Well, what about my other questions then. What if I appeal it. How long does it usually take to appear b...

Re: Parking ticket in Montreal - no signs posted
I thought that would be the case (QC not having jurisdiction in Toronto) - Wasn't there some news in the city hall (Toronto) about councillors wanting to gain access to out of province plates? That is so stupid....what would happen to people like me who just want to party for a night and wake up to ...

Parking ticket in Montreal - no signs posted
Hi everyone, I know this is "Ontario" forum but I thought maybe someone else had the same experience or can weigh-in on this case. I was in Montreal for the weekend and parked on a street where there were other cars parked and there were no signs of no-parking. I parked on Sunday evening a...

Re: Parking ticket from "Developer maintained - Unassumed ro
Here is the exact spot per Google Street View. You can see the Yellow Unassumed sign and the car was parked by the Post Box - to the left is 3 Sheldon Drive (has no door to sheldon but house door is to Old Harwood): http://maps.google.ca/maps?q=3+Sheldon+Drive,+Ajax,+Ontario&hl=en&ll=43.8670...

Re: Parking ticket from "Developer maintained - Unassumed ro
daggx: Amazing find. Thanks for all the info and very precise approach. My ticket doesn't show the BY-LAW 5-2004 section 9.1 (o) but I guess it is that. And yes, it was parked over night and ticket time is 3:46 AM. time lord: I am not sure who you are referring to; Me or the road owner contract with...

Parking ticket from "Developer maintained - Unassumed road"
Hi everyone, City of Ajax has a 3AM - 6AM no parking on streets rule that doesn't get enforced often. I don't even know why that rule is because snowplow trucks don't even show up till 8AM. First ticket in 5 years on a road beside my home that has a sign which says, "Developer maintained - Unas...

Re: Alcohol meter blowing test-How far is officer allowed to
I think in this case the officer made that blowing hard clear after the first failed attempt. Regardless playing the meter is like not giving the test so I doubt anyone would like to just do it for the heck of it unless you see this happening a lot in the field.

Re: Alcohol meter blowing test-How far is officer allowed to
Oh, he told him 3 tries and that's it I will arrest you. That's what surprised me and he was telling me he didn't even tell him to blow hard so the first blow was soft and it didn't register apparently.
Thanks

Alcohol meter blowing test-How far is officer allowed to go?
Hi everyone, Friend of mine was stopped and asked to blow into alcohol test meter just because he said he had 2 drinks earlier in the night (like 4,5 hours before being stopped). He wasn't behaving erratic or driving out of line. The officer said he noted him to pull behind few parked cars and then ...
