I received a red light camera ticket. I was not aware this had happened. My daughter had had surgery the day before in Hamilton. (We come from Brantford). The day after her surgery was the day of the offense. My daughter-in-law , son-in-law and son all came to Hamilton to see her with me. They were changing her rooms,so i stayed and they took my vehicle to get some things. None of us drive in Hamilton and they got lost.,more then one of them drove the vehicle that day. No one realized they went though a red light ,even after the ticket no could recall. I'm not even sure where this is in Hamilton as we where up by Henderson Hospital. The ticket shows Bay and Main I'm on a disability pension and can't afford this ticket.,so I was just wondering if its worth my while to plead not guilty. And hope for a reduced fine???? thanks

You can select option 2, plead guilty with an explanation, and tell the JP about your financial status. They typically will reduce fines. If you select option 3 (not guilty) I would try and work out a plea deal with the Crown ahead of time for a reduced fine. If you actually go to trial, a reduction is less likely.

Wondering if the officer not signing the "Summons to Defendant" Form 104 defendants copy would constitute a fatal error. To be clear, the certificate is signed with a carbon transfer signature, however not one that is in ink. I have noticed that a fair amount of officers take the time to…
A couple weeks ago I was out for one of my last rides on my sportbike (94 Kawasaki ZX6E) before I sell it. I've had it for three seasons but have been wanting to get something less ridiculously fast and more comfortable for long distances.
Unfortunately, I got twinked while getting a last…
I was leaving a campus parking lot and into a campus road when i was pulled over by the police. I was given a failure to stop at a stop sign ticket. Can an officer legally give me a traffic law ticket as i was leaving a parking lot on a university campus
So today I got my first speeding ticket from going 80 km/h in a 50 zone, reduced to 70. I have been in an accident before so my insurance rate is already pretty high, yet I don't really handle my own insurance as I am the secondary driver on my family car. I'm also 20 and still have my G2, which…
I was parked last night in a parking lot in Scarborough. When I came back to my car, I see a $450 ticket on my car. There were no markings on the ground for lanes, or even painted blue for a handicap spot. There was a sign on the wall, but it was to the right of my car so i assumed it was for the…
Hey all, new to this forum. Need some advice. So a friend of mine (lets call him MC) drove his brother's car while his brother was overseas for the summer. Little did he know that the brother's insurance and vehicle plate expired in June. MC was pulled over and got three tickets:
I would try to give as many details as i can. And A link to my dash cam
