Re: Missing Set Fine - Missing Total Payable
For anyone searching this in the future, a friend just went through all of this and it works as of Apr 2022. 1) They received a ticket for disobey stop sign, noticed No set OR Payable amount on ticket 2) Did not pay or inquire about ticket 3) Kept checking provincial ticket lookup, 2 months later “Q...

Re: Cop knocking on your door
How would they have evidence that it is you driving? anyone could be driving the car, same goes for parking tickets, it just gets sent(or billed) to the owner. If they have no reasonable evidence (ie. photos) I'd say anyone could have a good defence.

THEN request disclosure, review the disclosure carefully and see if any info is missing (ie...

Re: 110 in 80, reduced to 100, on route to vet with bleeding
No they will not reduce it more, and the dog excuse will not get you anywhere. If I were you I'd request a trial then request disclosure when the trial date comes, see if you get proper notes from the officer and if anything is out of line (lack of disclosure, improper notes ect.) then that and offi...

Re: 101 in a 70 Disclosure requested. First appearance June
They wont give you a non-moving violation, they will simply laugh at you. Basically it's up to you, the prosecutor will likely offer you a lesser fine, you have to decide whether or not the disclosure is correct or has an error or two to gamble taking it to trial, now that being said there is a chan...

101 in a 60
Hey new here, great boards here and alot of good info. So I was "accused" of speeding 101 in a 60 and here's how it goes.. I was driving on a 2 lane country road (east/west), came up to a hill crest where the hill dips down enough not to see the top of any oncoming vehicle and an officer w...
