Withdrawn ticket? Payed before court date, issued a refund.
I got a ticket and requested a court date, before the court date I ended up paying my ticket online (not sure if every court offers this). The court date was the 11th and today I get an email that my ticket was refunded and that my ticket was withdrawn? Any one know why this would happen? There was ...

Wrong fine amount from court.
Hello, I recently went to court for a big ticket and got it reduced by quite a bit but when my letter came in the mail that had my fine amount it was different than what I was told in court. In court I was given a break down of the fine 9.50/km over the speed limit plus the victim charge or court fe...

Why I think most tickets should NOT affect insurance
This isn't meant to be a rant or just me complaining. I honestly feel that most tickets should not affect insurance, and heres why. Say a speeding ticket, it is completely to how the officer is feeling weather you get off or not on the road side. Or if you know the right people or play golf with the...

Re: Careless in a parking lot
You're worried about some random guy making claims to report you? Its in a parking lot, not public roads and they cant prove you whee driving. Id say you have nothing at all to worry about.

Re: Starting a new insurance policy
If you never had your trial yet, then your driving abstract is clean because you have not been convicted of the offense yet. So no when your insurance company asks if you have ever been convicted of a driving offense in the last 3 years you tell them no. On your next renewal if the insurance compan...

Starting a new insurance policy
Hello, this may be the wrong spot to post this and I'm sorry if it is. If I where to start a new policy with a different company than i am currently with now, (while my ticket is waiting for trial) would the company find out about the ticket at all before the renewal a year from now?

Re: Reduced ticket
Tickets can and will be amended to their original speeds once the trial process begins. If you're looking to plead guilty on your trial date, you can do that too. Just show up and tell them you're no longer looking for a trial and you wish you just plead guilty to the ticket you received. So by tak...

Reduced ticket
Hello, first post here. I got a ticket today but he gave me a break. Id just pay the ticket because it was very fair but id really like to keep it off my record until after a court date for a different ticket. If I where to fight this ticket could i be charged the full amount I was going or can they...
