Hi,

Casual driver "A" gets a ticket in primary driver "B" car. Will the fault affect Primary Driver "B's" insurance rates???

Thanks,

well the "A" would get the ticket...so the "A" drivers insurance would be affected only...but that may not be same for insurance liablity.

think poster is meaning both on same policy for same vehicle....one being the primary driver and the other listed as secondary.

should go to Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act thread for sticky topics.

can go to this thread http://www.ontariohighwaytrafficact.com/topic2278.html

second link (Ontario Auto Insurance FAQ) - probably answers your question on page 9

I follow and it's a maybe.

Try it this way:

17-yr old G2 driver in parents car gets a ticket, it could affect his parents insurance.
