Speeding Ticket Question
Back in April 2013 I've received an ticket in Toronto. Doing 83 in a 60 zone. I applied for a court date and today. I received a letter telling me to pay the ticket $120 and that I got three points. What can I do?

Go to the courthouse as soon and possible and explain you never received a notice of trial.
It sounds like you were booked for a court date and for whatever reason you never received your notice in the mail. Your trial date comes and obviously you're not present. You're found guilty for no showing.

You can try to get them to strike out the conviction and have the matter re-opened. The majority of JPs are sympathetic, as long as you are rational and professional about it.
