Leaving a private drive onto Hwy 7 in Markham during rush hour. Turning Left onto Hwy 7 (westbound) Cars in the 2 eastbound lanes stop to give me way. I proceed to the middle of the 2 Yellow lines. A car gunning (between the Yellow lines) for the next major street (to turn left) barrels into me. I get charged with Failure to Yield to vehical on Hwy.

Officer Notes- Car claims that they were turning into the Plaza -

Car had passed the plaza entrance

Officer Notes 2: Claims that i was making a left turn on hwy 7 east

I was making a left turn but going westbound. Highway 7 is not designated as east and west. it is only called Highway 7 or regional road 7

Officers drawing of the accident does not show the yellow lines- Depicts it as a left turn at a major intersection.

Do i have a case so that the ticket can be dropped or should i go for a plea?

How would i approach this in court?
