No Officer Signature, Should I Still Request For Disclosure?

I received a ticket for "Fail to yield to traffic on through highway", Highway Traffic Act 136(1)(b).

The ticket had all the fields filled except except it was missing the signature of the officer on the offence notice. I had requested option 3, the trial option. I have a trial date now and I had read that I should not attend because that is considered a fatal error and I should appeal it once the decision is made. I still have the offence notice which was stamped received by the provincial offences office.

I just wanted to confirm if that is the correct course of action and whether I should still make a disclosure request.

Thanks for your time.

Was this a hand-written or electronically printed ticket?
