Failed To Stop At A Red Light On A Bike

Hi, my fiance was riding his bike in downtown Toronto, and an officer gave him a $325 ticket for failing to stop at a red light. He didn't have a driver's license on him, and the officer wrong down his last name incorrectly (but got his correct address, birthday, etc.. ). From what I've read online so far, it looks like we should try to fight this. Does anyone have any advice to share?

Thanks,

Wai

How badly was the last name butchered? I ask because the courts generally won't throw out a ticket over a minor spelling mistake.

Hi daggx, two of the "s" in his name were replaced with "f"s.
