Red Light - Fail To Stop 144(18) Minor Or Major Conviction?

Unread post by apu »

Hello All,

This board has been very helpful for me to learn how to properly dispute my traffic tickets. Thank you for your assistance.

Yesterday I received a ticket for Red Light - Fail to stop 144(18). I am wondering, if I am convicted of this, do insurance companies typically view this as a minor or major conviction?

I will filing for a trial, requesting disclosure etc. But would like to know what the consequences of the charge are.

Thanks!

Most insurance sites list it as a minor conviction. Always best to check with your provider if you want to be certain though.
