Disobey Stop Sign + Fail To Surrender Insur: Worth Fighting?

My wife just got 2 tickets today.
1) Disobey stop sign
2) Failure to surrender insurance (she actually had an outdated one).
If my MAIN GOAL is to prevent insurance premium from increasing, should I be fighting this? If so, what are my chances of winning and who is the best in helping with this? Also, approximately how much would this cost me to fight it? Thanks.

In my opinion all tickets are worth fighting if you have the time. Note this is a minor conviction so it may be overlooked by your insurer, BUT if she gets into an accident or has another ticket all bets are off. You would have to call and see what your insurers specific policy would be.

I would definitely book a court date. At the very least you can probably make a deal to have one of the tickets dropped in exchange for a guilty plea to the other. If your insurance company forgives one minor ticket, like many do, then that should keep your rates from going up.
