Fail To Use Lower Beam Oncoming

Unread post by Hwang »

Help! Help!

I was driving on McNicoll between Midland and Kennedy on Dec. 18, 2012 when I was stopped by a police officer and told my high beam was on. A ticket of $ 110 was handed to me for failing to use lower beam. It was getting dark at that time but not really dark. I know if I go to court to plea bargan they will lower the ticket to around $ 65 . But the ticket will remain on my record which will raise my insurance next year. Can someone please tell me how to fight for it to be wiped out of my record. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

You either have a defense or you get lucky along the way. Since it doesn't sound like you have much of a defense, request a trial, request disclosure, and go from there.

bend, thanks for replying. Really appreciate it. I am going for trial and have aleady got the disclosure. There isn't much that I can argue about except the officer said it was dark at that time but it wasn't. Other than that, I don't know what to say.
