I'm Going To Court And I Need Some Guidance

So I had a guy turn across my lane into his driveway and I hit him. I'm going to court solo so I need any information at all regarding proceedings.

I clearly saw two police officers on scene and got disclosure from only one of their black-books even though they both took notes, one from me and one from him. He got a ticket which I will explain in the next paragraph. I don't see any driving history from him either? How do I request this info?

He got a ticket because his plate stickers were not in the right place. If somebody has their stickers on wrong isn't the plate invalid, if the plate is invalid then can he legally have the vehicle on the road?

How do I present my side of the story? Do I call myself as a witness? How do I call a witness? I have a presentation binder for the judge. How do I give it to him?

Thank-you soooo much.

- 2nd officer probably only took a statement from the other driver and made no other notes. You will probably get the statement from the other person, not the officers notes as nothing in them.

- sticker in the wrong place does not invalidate the plate

But He Did Get A Ticket

If the sticker isn't for keeping your plate valid, why do they demand it goes in the right top corner and what is it for?

So does anybody know anything about actually going to court? Is there a better forum here for actual proceedings and information about pleading your case, do I have to call myself as a witness? How do I give something to the judge?

Here's original thread: http://www.ontariohighwaytrafficact.com/topic1265.html

Ask the cop if he is a "Licensed Accident Scene Reconstruction Expert". Point out the dents on the car. It really is their word against yours, unless you come up with something really smart.
