Rear Ender - Charged At Collision Reporting Centre?
I rear ended someone in a minor fender bender. The other party is reporting to the collision reporting centre. When I report there, will I be automatically charged?

It's not that much different than an officer showing up to the scene.
Whether or not you'll be charged will depend on the evidence in front of them.
But yes, it's possible.
What is the evidence? The other persons statement and the location of the damage?
Yes, that can be some of it.
Because it's a rear end collision, the driver from the back is almost always entirely at fault. HTA requires you to always keep a safe distance between you and the vehicle in front.
That will play a role into any potential charge.
Could you be charged? Yes.
Will you be charged - hard to say. I can only offer one data point: my wife rear ended someone fairly hard on the QEW and wasn't charged.
