last friday, i was caught speeding.

the officer give me the ticket for doing 105 in a 50 zone. and got my car impound and license suspend 7 days. but once i got my car back i went back to the road i got caught and found out the speed limit is 60 it means no license suspend and no impound. how do a fight for this ticket? and i actually paid for the impound fee and tow truck fee for 750. will they dismiss the ticket. or get my impound fee back?

You won't be able to appeal the suspension, but you can fight the ticket in court (or just speak with a prosecutor about it) and bring that up. That should be a strong mitigating factor.

You could also file a complaint with the police department about their error and see if they will rectify it by compensating you financially. If they don't, you could always sue for damages.

For this particular charge... a paralegal would be worthwhile seeking. You should be able to beat the stunt driving charge, however it still leaves the issue of speeding 105 in a 60 zone. I'd suggest taking photographs of the area where you were caught, showing the signage, etc. Also check under this forum's section "Courts and Procedure," and look at the thread Guidelines for Submitting Photographs.
