Speeding 403 176km/h
I was doing about 140km/h I was coming off a turn, office claimed I had 176km/h now I was told by my current lawyer he could get it down to 149km/h should I take it or better can we done?
Cheers

take it and run.
I got 149km'h over 4 points and $343 ticket I was told points will be erased next dec. What to expect from insurance.
It depends on your insurance company, ibc faq brochure says that +1 to +49kph is considered a minor offence and +50kph is considered a major offence; your insurance company can rate speeds differently... there might be more information on your insurance policy.

Insurance company doesn't care about points because they don't use them. Generally, you'd want to avoid any 50 and plus conviction because the difference between 49 and 50 can be huge. As already pointed out, it will depend on your insurance company and your current record. Anything 49 and under and you'll typically be lumped in with your average speeding ticket. 50 and over and you'll be treated like everyone caught street racing/stunt driving and run the risk of being dropped completely from your current insurance company.
