Big Change In Road Side Suspensions

12 Hour suspensions were the norm for a warn on the roadside.

Now the first warn is a 3 day suspension, and $150 to get your licnece back from the ministry.

If there is a second offence, (another warn on a roadside), with in 5 years, you get a 7 day suspension. Then you pay for remeadial training from the ministry, and another $150.

Finally if you get another warn on a roadside within 5 years, being the 3rd time out, you get a 30 day suspension, and must have an interlock ignition system in your car to drive, (big bucks).

The only ansewer is take a taxi if your going to have a beer. Its just too risky.

Not a bad alternative. A lot of people can not handle their beer. I have seen people go nuts just after a few beers. I can't even imagine them on the roads.
