I have a court trail next Monday morning about the `Disobeying the sign` ticket. Can my wife represent me? Do I need to prepare any document to prove she is my family member?

Thanks in advance!

Anyone can represent anyone. You need to be court approved before you can charge money for it though........ your friend's, uncle's next-door neighbours grandmother could do it......

thanks!

So I don`t need to show up in the court if my wife represents me in the court date. Do I need to give her at letter to prove it?

If you are not going to be there you should send her with a signed letter which should say something like:

I, ______, give ________ permission to act on my behalf in Provincial Offences Court in relation to PON#___________.

That's all it needs to say.
