What Records Do Tps And Opp Have On You?

I have a question regarding what information the police office will have access to when pulling someone over.

When I was 19 I got into a situation, it was a horrible drunk night at a party that ended up with me spending time in a Peel Regional Police station.

At the time I was extremely lucky to find out that I was not being charged with anything.

The officer only mentioned that this was a warning. I was told that in the future I would not be so lucky as future Officers will be able to know what I did.

Is there anyway for me to find out what information is on my record? To find what information other officers have access too?

I've requested a criminal record check from TPS, can I request something from Peel Regional?

Do I have the right to request that? Would the motion for discovery work in this situation?

Thanks and take care.

You shuold be able to ask for something from Peel Police. Not sure what the outcome would be. I'm not really too familiar with this type of situation, maybe a Freedom of Information request or something could help you out.

You could do a freedom of information request or even a vulnerable sector records check with Peel and see what comes up. Both will cost you.
