Accessible Parking Enforcement On Private Lots

I was wondering if anyone could tell me about parking enforcement related to handicapped/accessible parking spots on private property of a business that is closed and currently for sale.

I understand that cities have permission to enforce the The H.T.A. Ont Reg with respect to private property at the owner's request/permission. I also understand that city by-laws may have an impact on the enforcement.

Does the spirit of law cover businesses no longer in operation? Is there any case law?

Thanks !!

Look up the city by laws. Each city has its own and differ from one to the next.

There was a handicapped sign above an exit door but no other markings. I am not sure if the signs meet the criteria of the O-Reg.

It's an old movie theater with no other local businesses nearby.

Court is next week! :p

It should be posted right in front of the parking spot and be visible.
