Suspended For Stunt Driving, Not Convicted But Still Remain?
So I got suspended for 7 days with the charge of stunt driving (speeding over 50km/h). Almost a year after, the charge was withdrawn and I'm clear of it. Why does my suspension stay on record? Doesn't that mean the suspension is invalid now?
Anyway, the reason I'm really asking is because my insurance company is now increasing my premiums because of the suspension. They base this from my driver abstract, so they are aware that I wasn't convicted of the charge. So why are they using this as a reason to increase my premiums? Technically the suspension shouldn't even have occured because the charge was thrown out. Is this legitimate?
