Grass On A Public Roadway In The Ohta

I know there's a section for snow being left on the road. I'm looking to see if either it would include grass cuttings, or if there's a different section that would make this illegal.

I ride a motorcycle almost everyday to work (1 hour drive, backroads) And I see a lot of people that will throw their grass out on the road, covering the entire lane. If this isn't illegal, it should be. It makes the road like grease/ice for us two wheelers.

Thanks all!

The Highway Traffic Act only deals with depositing snow/ice on the roadway. For grass clippings, leaves, etc., you'd have to check local bylaws to see if your municipality prohibits them being placed on the roadway (many do).
