My young adult children were out today celebrating the men's hockey win at the Olympics. Waving their Canadian flags as the back seat passengers in their friends car. Passed another car of supporters also celebrating. One of the back seat passengers leaned out the back window to wave to the other supporters. Police pulled over the vehicle and issued a $240 ticket for not wearing a seat belt ! Give me a break !

If you think it's ok to do it for a hockey game then I'm assuming you think it's ok for all other sorts of occasions. What about a wedding, a high school ball game, a trip to a party......?
It's either dangerous or it's not.

You live in a nanny state, why would you be incredulous to a police officer doing the job that you pay them to do?
