General Question Regarding A Ticket

Hey Guys,

On April 24, 2013 I received a ticket for speeding excessively which had the wrong date on it. I chose not to do anything and later received a letter in the mail saying the court refused to accept my ticket. Till this date the officer has not reissued the ticket so im assuming its never going to haunt me now at least. My question is when I was pulled over, the officer asked if I had any prior offences which I didn't. Since I was never convicted of this ticket, if an officer were to pull me over in the future and ask the same question, Would I be obliged to say yes but not convicted or can I opt and say no. Also will the ticket show up on the officers computer when he pulls up my license or no?

Thanks,

zRa

You can say no, or nothing at all (you have the right to remain silent). that information is meaningless to him anyways. The officer of the prosecutor has 6 months from the alleged date to charge you.
