Fighting Tickets + The New Penalties Starting Sept 1st

If fighting a ticket from before sept 1st, but the court date is after sept 1st... If you lose, could you be faced with the new penalty or will it still be the same as the day you were handed a ticket?

The fine would be as written on the ticket.

Its based on your offense date.
