Definitions, Part X - Section 133
In this Part,
"indication" means a signal lens display that is activated by internal illumination; ("indication")
"road service vehicle" means a vehicle operated by or on behalf of a municipality or other authority having jurisdiction and control of a highway while the vehicle is being used for highway maintenance purposes; ("vehicule de la voirie")
Note: On a day to be named by proclamation of the Lieutenant Governor, the definition of "road service vehicle" is repealed by the Statutes of Ontario, 1994, chapter 27, subsection 138 (11). See: 1994, c. 27, ss. 138 (11), 144.
"traffic control signal" means that part of a traffic control signal system that consists of one set of no less than three coloured lenses, red, amber and green, mounted on a frame and commonly referred to as a signal head; ("signalisation de la circulation")
"traffic control signal system"
means all of the signal equipment making up the installation at any location. ("syst¨me de panneaux de signalisation") R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 133.
