Are you talking about the map, or the streetview? You chould use an actual map, or an actual photo.

Google products as these are for "entertainment only", and should not be used as a reference. Think about it - they have mapped a million of streets, all for free, what are the chances that there as not one mistake?

Hi,

I am referring to a Google terrain type map or satellite image..

Satellite images are usually 5 years old or so, if not more. You should use an actual, recent, printed map in this case. What are you trying to show with it?

I want to show the actual topography of that section of highway, which I believe may contradict the officers description.

it's the 401....it is straight, there are no sharp turns or steep hills. It would not matter anyway it is his/her description of the highway at that point in time.

Hi hwybear,

I take the view that everything matters; some things to a much greater or lesser degree then others, but as the expression goes "all is fouter (sp) for the grease mill" :)
