Recalculating Premium After A Minor Conviction Drops Off

Unread post by hocuspocus1029 »

If I know a minor traffic violation will be leaving my drivers abstract (3 years is up) can I call my insurance company and re assess my premium mid year? Example: Bob was convicted in July of 2010, his insurance starts June of every year, can John call his insurance company and re assess his rate August of 2013? Or is John stuck paying the higher rate for the rest of the year ?

Belair is the insurer.

Thanks

If Belair already knows about the Jul 2010 conviction and you're paying increased premiums as a result; you have nothing to lose by asking Belair directly.

If Belair doesn't know about the conviction, then you're better off staying silent because they may not run your driving abstract this year either.

BTW in your post it appears you're talking about three people? Yourself, Bob & John... How many people are involved here?
