Failure To Clear Signalized Intersection?
I got a ticket for "failure to clear signalized intersection"...fine is $45. I'm ok with paying it off but will this ticket affect my insurance or deduct demerit points?
Thanks.

Out of curiosity, what is the section number for that charge? I've never even heard of it.
I'm guessing it's a City of Toronto bylaw, 88/82.
The operator of a motor vehicle who enters an intersection on a green light and subsequently fails to clear his or her motor vehicle from the intersection upon the traffic signal turning red, thereby preventing traffic proceeding from an opposing direction, commits an offence.
I'm not sure...where can i find that? its a by law ticket
I know this is old, but I believe its a city of toronto by law, chapter 400-43a
Something like that...
