Does A Suspended Licence Carry Over To Other Provinces?

I am wondering if an individual with a suspended license for driving while impaired can obtain a valid license in another province where he or she has moved to? Does this individual have to disclose that information when applying for the license in another province and would it matter either way if the license from ontario is invalid due to suspension? Please advise

Another question... If the information of the suspended ontario license is disclosed, will it make a difference in the other province? Also, would the demerit points carry over to the new province of residence or would the individual start off on a new slate?

If the suspension is a criminal one (i.e. convicted of impaired driving) then it's Canada wide. Even if you were able to obtain a licence elsewhere, you still can't legally drive. If you were caught driving it would be a criminal offence, not a Provincial one.
