Hi
Got a parking ticket in Mississauga (Pearson Airport) with a rental car....can I fight the ticket? It's a rental car so I am not the registered owner....how do I go about this, or can I? eg the trial notice is usually sent to the RO (registered owner) so I wouldn't get it...and miss the court date, and then have the rental car company attach some huge administrative fee on top of the fine....I don't mind fighting it, but I need some advice...

Talk to the rental car agency and advise them that you plan to fight the ticket. You'll likely have to coordinate with them with regards to the parking ticket.

Checck your rental agreement well. There maybe a clause stating that you have to pY all tickets or get a fee added on. It maybe cheaper to pay the ticket.
The ro of the car is a huge company and they probably will not be letting you know when court dates are and such as they have no capability to track this.
You may pleadnot guilty but the owner of the car may not do that. They may just pay the ticket and tack on a huge fee as per your agreement.
Paying the ticket maybe your cheapest option
This is how it was when I last rented a car in the usA.
