Failure To Yield To Pedestrian At Cross Over
Hi everyone,
I am from Montreal and was driving in Toronto a few days ago (on my way back to Montreal from Guelph) when I got pulled over for not yielding to a pedestrian at a pedestrian cross over. I have never seen a pedestrian cross over before (we don't have them in Montreal) and it looked like the guy was hailing a cab, not about to cross the street.
I'm going to contest my ticket but I'm not sure if I should go with Option 2 (early resolution - meet with prosecutor) or Option 3 (trial). What would be the benefit of going with Option 2? Or should I just go straight to trial?
Thanks for your help!
