my question is if you have the oringal ticket is the ticket still good or is it cancelled

Not sure what you're asking, maybe you can clarify a little. What do you mean by original ticket?

i have the white copy of the ticket cop gave me the wrong one

If within 7 days of offence notice, you could go file it with the court :shock:

Depends what it looks like.....blue preprinted with hand writing on white, I would say that should be original that is filed with court.


but just got thinking, some places have computer tickets, so white version could be actually "your copy".

Just be aware if they really want to proceed with the charge, they can still proceed by way of summons. If it was a minor charge I'd say that's highly unlikely, but for careless they might depending on the circumstances.

Has up to 6 month to lay the charge by way of summons, or 30 days by Part I (ticket)
